Guacamole without Garlic and Tomato

I love Mexican cuisine , because they are somewhat similar to Indian cuisine. They use lots of green chillies,coriander leaves(cilantro) , tamarind and many more.

Quesadilla has become standard breakfast or dinner in my home. Guacamole and salsa is a must for chips for my kid.

I make Guacamole similar to what I used to make it with raw mango back home:)

I have adopted this recipe from Alton Brown’s Guacamole recipe.

Ingredients for Guacamole without garlic and tomato:

Avocados 5
Red Onion small 1
Green Chillies 2( u can use Jalapeños)
Cumin 1 tsp
Salt
Lime juice from 1 lime
Red chilli powder or Cayenne Pepper or Pepper Powder 1/2 tsp
Cilantro leaves 3 tbsp

Making of Guacamole without garlic and tomato:

Wash and cut Avocados in half. Remove the seed and extract avocado pulp using a spoon or table knife.

Mash avocado with spoon or fork if it is fully ripped or use potato masher.

Mix lime juice,salt and cumin seeds into avocado pulp.

Add cayenne pepper or chilli powder or pepper powder, chopped onions, cilantro or coriander leaves and mix.

Gently mix everything and serve.
