Kerala Mathi Fish Curry

kerala mathi fish curry recipe

My husband bought this Mathi Fish from local Korean market for making Kerala Mathi Fish Curry . He was drooling all over it lol. He loves fish. My kids , however I try to impress them with vegetarian dishes they completely turned into non veg lovers. Even my li’l one loves to eat fish and chicken. I’m not familiar with different types of fish as I come from a place where there are only few occasions where we can get good fish. My father brings home fish only when he knew where it came from and how it is raised.

I’m really bad in identifying fish types. Here is a blog which tells different fish names in 4 languages. This Mathi fish has lots of bones in it. be careful while feeding your little ones.

I made this Mathi fish curry in Kerala style. I have combined few recipes I have learned from my MIL.
