Mulakkada Mutton(Drumstick Mutton) Curry

mutton mulakkada curry recipe

It has been a month since I have visited my blog. I’ve been mourning death of my macbook pro šŸ™ My li’l one poured water on my macbook while it was charging. I tried my level best to repair it Ā after watching many youtube gurus repair mac’s like a breeze but for me it ain’t happen and there is no ta da moments..This happened for second time and I had not learnt from my past experience. It doesn’t have warranty and even if it has Ā warranty it doesn’t cover water damage. But having used mac for long time it is very tough to useĀ windows laptop again. No offense to windows though.I still wish I can magically repair my mac.

I grew up eating non-vegetarian food only once a week on Sunday and on some festive days. Back in my home and in my place I have never heard of mixing any veggies with non veg. We don’t add any kind of veggies to either chicken or mutton or shrimp we just make them as stand alone recipes and we definitely complete them by evening if they are made for breakfast. We won’t have any leftovers or what’s ever nope šŸ˜‰

But after having many andhra friends and thanks to internet I’m now familiar with fewĀ regional foods. Now I’m fond of gongura mutton or gongura chicken or chicken with eggplant or shrimp with eggplant and gonguraĀ royyalu etc. Even in food network many chef’s first sauteĀ veggies first and then they non vegetarian item to the pan.Now you know why I’m telling all this …recently in an interview my favorite actor Mahesh babu told he loves Mulakkada Mutton. That’s it šŸ˜‰ I thought I have to make it no mater what. Luckily I had Mulakkadulu and Mutton lying in refrigerator and without even searching for recipes I just made regular mutton curry and added Mulakkadulu Ā into it. My husband approved it and my girl loves drumsticks so it is a big thumbs up up for me.
