I had made Idly for breakfast today and have left over idlis. Being lazy to cook dinner I thought of making Idli Upma, but was lazy for doing that. I want something different. There are many recipes to utilize left over Idlis . I don’t want to fry them , don’t want oily food for now. I started hunting online and found spicy Tava Idli recipe on Tarladalal site
I started chopping onions, green chillies , ginger and garlic, then I found out I don’t have tomatoes or Ketchup ;(
But I have Salsa in my refrigerator. Bingo I have replaced Salsa for tomatoes. Being creative 😉
Spicy Tava Idli came out just perfect. It is tangy and spicy. Just the way I like. Yummy!
