Spinach Paratha

I changed Methi paratha , which I have learned from a Gujarati Aunty, into this spinach Paratha.

Ingredients for Spinach Paratha:

1) Whole Wheat Flour
2) Spinach Puree
3) Cumin or Ajwain  1 tsp
4) Coriander Powder 1 tsp
5) Turmeric Powder 1/2 tsp
6) Ginger 1 tbsp( Fresh or dry ginger powder)
7) Salt
8) Water as reqd

Procedure for making Spinach Paratha:

Puree spinach into fine paste including stems.

Take a bowl and add all dry ingredients.

Now add spinach puree and mix well.

Add enough water to make soft chapathi sough.

Kneed well and allow the spinach paratha dough to rest well.

Make paratha’s as you normally do.

Enjoy spinach paratha with any subzi or dal or even with sambar or with raitha.
